Join us for a film screening and discussion on the situation of human rights defenders in West Papua.
We will screen the first 30 minutes of the documentary Pesta Babi: Colonialism in Our Time, followed by an exchange with West Papuan human rights defenders who will share their experiences and perspectives.
The discussion will provide a space to hear directly from people defending their communities, lands and rights, and to learn more about the challenges faced by human rights defenders in West Papua.
The event is organised by Peace Brigades International – Switzerland in collaboration with Amnesty IHEID (Geneva Graduate Institute), the World Council of Churches and Franciscans International.
